Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a staff pharmacist for Cox Medical Center Branson's inpatient pharmacy. You will process and verify medication orders, monitor patient therapies, and provide drug information.

You may supervise support personnel and, in the absence of the pharmacy manager, assume essential duties. Education required: bachelor's in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred with ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in pharmacy; ACPE-accredited school.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred (ASHP PGY1).
• Missouri pharmacist licensure eligibility; MTM certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Job Description: Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's in pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency

Experience:

• Required: No Prior Experience Required
• Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training
