Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Float Pool in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves processing and verifying medication orders, monitoring therapies, and providing drug information to support patient care.

Responsibilities include supervising support staff and stepping in for the pharmacy manager when needed. A Bachelor's in Pharmacy is required; a Doctor of Pharmacy with ASHP PGY1 is preferred, and Missouri licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's in pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
• Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist
• Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
