Job summary

CoxHealth Monett is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join the 1660 Pharmacy Float Pool. You will process and verify medication orders, monitor therapies, provide drug information, and supervise support personnel.

In absence of the pharmacy manager you may assume essential duties to keep operations running smoothly. Required is a Bachelor's in Pharmacy and Missouri licensure; Doctor of Pharmacy and ASHP PGY1 residency are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree; ASHP PGY1 residency preferred.
Missouri Pharmacist license required or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

Staff pharmacists process/verify medication orders and monitor therapies.
Provide drug information and supervise support personnel.
In the absence of the pharmacy manager, assume essential responsibilities.

Job Description

Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

Education

Required: Bachelor's in pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency

Experience

Required: No Prior Experience Required
Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training
