Job summary

sdfgh is seeking a California-based technical sales professional with a strong background in organic chemistry and life sciences to grow our customer base in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and lab markets. You will translate scientific information to researchers and business stakeholders, and manage a Northern California territory to expand revenue.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in prospecting, negotiation, and CRM usage, along with the ability to work cross-functionally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Experience selling products or services in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life-science, laboratory, or chemical markets is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of organic chemistry is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate scientific and technical information clearly to researchers and business stakeholders.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to independently manage a Northern California sales territory.
• Strong organizational and CRM skills.
• Must currently reside in Northern California.
