Job summary

Bayer AG in Myerstown, PA is seeking a Pharmaceutical Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:20 PM). You will perform high-quality manufacturing tasks, operate and maintain equipment, and ensure safety and compliance with cGMP/SOP standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with team members, meeting production schedules, and documenting production steps in SAP/MES and related systems. Overtime may be required based on demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to work overtime as production demands.
• Minimum 6 months in motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Minimum 6 months experience with automated inventory systems (SAP/MES/Microsoft).
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Physically able to operate a forklift and handle packaging equipment.
• Experience in GMP/SOP environments and strong reading of instructions.
• Good math skills and PC literacy for emails and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and PPE usage; comply with SOPs and cGMP.
• Coordinate with operators and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain and clean work areas; assist with preventive maintenance.
• Operate and set up equipment, manage material movements and yields.
• Record manufacturing steps and production results in documents and systems.
