Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Associate Tech for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:20 PM) in Myerstown, PA. You will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex packaging lines within GMP environments and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and data capture using SAP and MES. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and 6+ months of automated inventory or MES/SAP experience, with strong English communication and teamwork abilities to meet production

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with GMP/SOP is valued.
Proven ability to learn digital tools and apply them on the production floor.
Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging lines and equipment.
Collaborate in autonomous teams to drive efficiency and adopt new technologies.
Maintain training records and coach others to enhance skills across operations.
Ensure cGMP compliance, OSHA safety standards, and 5S housekeeping on the line.
Record production results and material movements using SAP, MES, and related systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and reduce setup/changeover times.
