Job summary

Bayer is seeking a dedicated Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:20 PM) at its Myerstown, PA site. The role involves planning and manufacturing high-quality pharmaceutical products, adhering to cGMP and OSHA standards, and collaborating with operators and supervisors to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, process documentation, quality checks, and maintenance tasks. Overtime may be required; prior GMP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to work overtime as production demands.
• 6+ months experience with motorized/non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Experience with SAP, MES or Microsoft software.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures, PPE use, SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
• Meet production schedules and prioritize with team.
• Maintain and clean work area; participate in safety improvements.
• Operate and maintain equipment; assist with setup/changeover.
• Record manufacturing steps and results in required documents.
• Review outputs for accuracy using validated methods.
• Complete production documentation and material movements per SOPs.
