Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Chicago, IL to perform receipt, storage, picking, packing and shipping of products, including hazardous or high-value items.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and support multiple operation areas while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. Responsibilities include inspecting inbound goods, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring correct labeling and quantities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience, preferably in pharma operations.
• Accurately complete basic math; read and follow English training docs and labels.
• Pass medical screening and background checks as required.
• Self-motivated, fast-paced, team-oriented with moderate supervision.
• 3+ years with ERP systems (SAP); familiarity with RF scanners and MS Office.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and operate PPE; adapt to changing workload.
• Capable to meet certifications (CDA, TSA Screener, HazMat IATA/DOT etc.).

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound product for infestation, overages, shortages and damages.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment and ensure correct items.
• Transfer and locate material to storage or shipping locations.
• Verify quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the order for completeness.
• Comply with policies to maintain safety, GxP and governmental standards.
• Cross-train in multiple operation areas and sustain low quality mistakes.
• Demonstrate adaptability to fast-changing work demands.
• Maintain accuracy during paperwork and ERP data entry.
