Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Warehouse Specialist at the Durham site to manage general warehouse, hazardous storage, and cold storage within a high-performance team. Responsibilities include SAP/ERP inventory control and material put-away, ensuring accuracy and timely handling of materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months warehousing/manufacturing experience.
• Basic math skills and metric system knowledge.
• Ability to read, write legibly and understand all department documentation.
• Ability to drive non-CDL box truck or similar vehicle on site.

Responsibilities

• Handle, label & store hazardous materials occupying up to 10,000 square feet.
• Handle, label & store GMP non-hazardous materials.
• Process material handling operations for hazardous materials in drum, pallet & IBC configurations.
• Partner with warehouse sampling operations in completion of tasks.
• Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
• Daily inspections of forklifts, warehouse, cold rooms & freezer.
• Inventory control of all warehouse materials including stock put-away & retrieval.
• Label inbound material & pull/stage pallets for sampling team, as required.
• Store material in proper storage area defined in SAP/ERP.
• Ensure compliance with load/unload procedures and timely SAP/ERP movements.
