Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Durham, NC, seeks a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to manage all receiving and outbound shipments within the site, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in line with cGMP requirements.

The role emphasizes process improvement, SOP maintenance, and development of internal metrics while coordinating with couriers and production to optimize material flow. Supervisory responsibilities include guiding a team and implementing Lean initiatives to enhance performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five+ years in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Seven+ years with HS diploma/ GED in similar roles.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt of all incoming materials.
• Oversee shipment of all materials to customers.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipping with couriers.
• Maintain SOPs and cGMP compliance.
• Develop and track departmental metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
