Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Warehouse Specialist at the Durham, NC site to perform warehousing tasks across general, hazardous, and cold storage, while ensuring SAP/ERP transactions are accurate.

You will handle hazardous materials, support inventory control, and adhere to GMP practices in a fast-paced, high-performance team environment. This role requires safety focus and readiness to work on-site in Durham.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of warehousing or manufacturing experience in a regulated facility
• Basic math skills and metric system knowledge
• Ability to read, write and understand department documentation
• Ability to drive non-CDL box truck or similar vehicle on site

Responsibilities

• Handle, label and store hazardous materials up to 10,000 square feet
• Perform GMP non-hazardous material handling
• Conduct material handling for hazardous materials in drums, pallets & IBCs
• Maintain inventory control and ensure SAP/ERP transactions are accurate
• Follow safety and environmental requirements in daily duties
• Inspect forklifts, warehouses, cold rooms and freezers daily
• Ensure material movements are timely and properly recorded in SAP/ERP
• Operate and maintain training as per cGMP requirements
