Job summary

SGS is hiring an Associate Technical Client Manager (Pharmaceutical) in Lincolnshire, IL. The role acts as the liaison between major clients and the laboratory, supporting quotes, scheduling meetings, and providing technical guidance to ensure top-tier service.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related science and 3+ years in a lab setting, plus 2+ years in customer-facing roles. Strong regulatory and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or related science.
• 3+ years experience working as a scientist in a lab environment or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in a customer/client contact position preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and Pharmaceutical development with emphasis on CMC.
• Strong negotiation, communication, customer relation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude.
• Capability to multi-task to meet sample turnaround time and client satisfaction with Lab Managers' oversight.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between major clients and the laboratory.
• Prepare and oversee responses to smaller project quotes.
• Schedule teleconferences and meetings, run meetings, and draft agendas/minutes for scope and quotes.
• Provide technical support and maintain client satisfaction as the preferred service provider.
• Respond to inquiries and record details in the tracking system.
