SGS is seeking an experienced professional to manage the Client Service Department in North Sioux City, South Dakota. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in Food Science or Chemistry, along with at least 5 years of laboratory experience and 3 years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of laboratory experience.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Effective problem prevention and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency with LIMS and Client Portal systems.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates client concerns and requests.
• Manages Client Service Department efficiency and quality.
• Communicates necessary changes to department personnel.
• Ensures procedures are performed consistently.
• Hires personnel and oversees employee issues.
• Conducts performance reviews and provides guidance.
• Evaluates client complaints and recommends changes.
• Maintains confidentiality of client and company protocols.
• Implements Quality Management System per ISO 17025.
