Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Production Planner to develop and publish production schedules, forecast material needs, and schedule lines to meet customer demand and capacity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure on-time deliveries, and support LEAN initiatives within a cGMP environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a related field, 1–5 years of planning experience, and strong Excel/SAP skills. MBA is a plus; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management required; MBA preferred.
• 1–5 years’ experience in supply chain planning or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and electronic material management systems.
• Familiarity with SAP APO and ECC; process improvement and lean manufacturing are a plus.
• Able to develop and manage action plans to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Publish production plans and forecast material needs based on demand.
• Schedule manufacturing lines to meet capacity and lead times.
• Identify and respond to supply chain issues; ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain department procedures per cGMPs and improve customer feedback.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and promote LEAN principles.
