eTeam is seeking a Quality Lab Associate I in Round Lake, IL for a 12-month assignment. This role supports QC Microbiology operations, handling biological testing for biologics and drugs across manufacturing stages. The position requires flexibility with a first-shift schedule and occasional holiday work.

You will perform microbial analyses, environmental monitoring, media preparation, and data capture using LIMS and lab instruments, while ensuring GMP compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Must not be allergic to Penicillin and Cephalosporin or related products.
• Background knowledge in basic Biology and Microbiology including aseptic technique.
• Proficient in LIMS.
• Able to multitask, detail-oriented with strong reading comprehension.
• Knowledge of GLP and pharmaceutical aseptic processing cGMP preferred.
• Experience with structured root cause investigations (DMAIC) is a plus.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.
• First-shift Thursday-Monday with occasional off-shift/holiday work.

Responsabilités

• Conduct microbial analyses on raw materials, in-process, and finished products and environmental samples.
• Perform routine facility environmental monitoring of surfaces, air, and personnel; monitor critical systems.
• Prepare media and reagents used in the laboratory.
• Operate laboratory instruments (particle counters, pH meter, SAS, Autoclave) and LIMS to collect and record data.
• Monitor inventory; order, receive and stock supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory and perform housekeeping activities.
• Conduct and document nonconformance investigations including data review and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain data integrity and comply with SOPs, FDA, QSR and cGMP.
• Follow cGMP and safety procedures; contribute to other tasks and projects.
• Work in both Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities as needed.
