Job summary

TAI Engineering is seeking a Project Technical Manager to shape and deliver complex capital projects in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will provide strategic technical direction from early design through commissioning, coordinating engineering, operations, automation, facilities and quality functions to ensure compliant, high-performing solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in Pharma/Biotech, strong leadership, and collaboration with multiple customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in pharma/biotech projects.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and quality.
• Experience with FEED, design governance and commissioning.
• Knowledge of GMP-related assessments and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical direction from early design through commissioning.
• Lead design governance and value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate SME resources across CD, BD and DD stages.
• Partner with Customer teams to ensure requirements are understood and reflected.
• Support procurement strategy and technical scope for packages.
