Placements24 is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team at the Welkom site. You will oversee daily operations, ensure GMP compliance, meet quality standards, and drive safe, efficient production of high‑quality medicines.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and a proven track record in high‑volume pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will train staff, optimize processes, and coordinate with maintenance in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Proven understanding of GMP, validation principles and pharma manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations on the manufacturing floor.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements and SOPs.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate manufacturing personnel for continuous improvement.
• Monitor processes and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Manage manufacturing equipment and coordinate with maintenance for upkeep.
• Oversee raw materials and finished goods inventory to meet production schedules.
