Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Production Specialist I for the UD Packaging line on a 7am-7:30pm schedule (Thu-Sat, and every other Wednesday). You will support setup, changeover, and packaging of pharmaceutical products while maintaining safety and quality as top priorities.

You will contribute to a team environment, perform line clearances, operate automated equipment, and execute quality checks throughout the production run. This role requires stamina and a strong commitment to cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; technical certificate preferred.
• Commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to communicate issues to engineering and mechanical teams.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.
• Understanding of cGMP requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Perform housekeeping on finishing lines and line clearances for changes.
• Assist in setup of automated equipment in packaging areas.
• Operate automated and semi-automated equipment to produce finished product.
• Perform in-process checks, sample pulls, and quality-related tasks.
• Sustain 6S of parts and tooling on the production floor.
• Escalate safety, quality and technical issues promptly.
• Communicate improvement opportunities with cross functional teams.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and adjust for efficiency.
