Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead night shift operations for Core 1 Biologics packaging. You will oversee Visual Inspection, capping, HSGA and related activities, ensuring safety, quality and productivity while complying with regulatory requirements.

You will manage resources, train staff, review batch records and drive continuous improvements across packaging processes and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years in a supervisory role in pharma/biopharma.
• Experience in packaging/inspection under regulated environments.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shift operations and resource planning for packaging.
• Supervise packaging activities to meet schedules and instructions.
• Coordinate release of components and supplies, minimize downtime.
• Support training and regulatory qualifications; track progress.
• Promote safety and cGMP compliance across the team.
• Provide leadership and foster teamwork and engagement.
• Assist in process and productivity improvements.
• Coordinate with Materials, Finance, HR and Engineering.
• Review batch records and suggest corrections when needed.
• Develop and update packaging procedures and protocols.
• Mentor team members and address performance issues.
