Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Packaging Lead to oversee labeling and packaging operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP and quality standards.

You will coordinate with finishing, QA, and supervisors, train staff, and maintain batch records while driving continuous improvement and safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated industry with knowledge of CFR, cGMP and regulatory standards.
• Availability for off-shift, weekend, and on-call work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead all packaging activities for small and/or large volume parenteral liquid drug products.
• Coordinate activities with other operational departments to ensure smooth production.
• Maintain adequate levels of operating supplies to meet production needs.
• Train staff on safety practices and cGMP regulations.
• Write or revise department procedures and batch records for packaging.
• Support QA functions and batch record reviews as needed.
• Assist in scheduling and calibrating production equipment.
• Participate in client communications and project status updates.
