Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to oversee the execution of packaging tasks and lead labeling and packaging lines, ensuring GDP compliance and timely completion of production goals.

The role involves directing operators, supporting training, and maintaining accurate documentation under cGMP guidelines, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant experience in pharma/biopharma manufacturing.
• Experience in packaging of regulated products with knowledge of cGMP/FDA guidelines.
• Knowledgeable of GMP and CFR guidelines.
• Overtime/weekend work available.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support to the packaging team to ensure cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the operating areas and equipment.
• Support the training process, procedures, and records for labeling and packaging.
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing and quality assurance to prioritize finishing schedules.
• Review Master Batch Records and related documentation for GDP compliance.
• Perform material transactions within GRAM’s electronic inventory system, QAD.
• Participate in quality investigations and troubleshooting of quality events.
• Ensure contemporaneous and accurate documentation during GMP operations.
• Clearly communicate direction to packaging and cross-functional teams.
• Take responsibility of the shift in the absence of supervision.
• Participate in client communications, including problem solving and schedule updates.
