Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to oversee packaging tasks, labeling lines, and related operations. You will lead technicians, ensure clean work areas, and maintain GDP/cGMP compliance under supervision.

The role requires 1+ year of pharma packaging experience and knowledge of CFR/FDA guidelines. Proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook is expected. Medical benefits from day 1 and generous PTO are offered along with volunteer time and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant experience in pharma/biopharma/biotech packaging environments.
• Knowledge of QA principles and procedures in approved manufacturing.
• Familiarity with cGMP, CFR and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support the packaging team to maintain cleanliness, organization, and equipment.
• Support training processes, procedures, and records for labeling and packaging.
• Communicate with manufacturing and QA to prioritize finishing schedules.
• Review Master Batch Records and related GDP-compliant documentation.
• Perform material transactions in GRAM’s QAD system.
• Participate in quality investigations related to labeling and packaging.
• Assist in troubleshooting, prevention, and resolution of quality events.
• Lead problem solving and 1-on-1 performance discussions as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation during GMP operations.
• Communicate direction to packaging and cross-functional teams.
• Take shift responsibility in the absence of supervision.
• Engage in client communications including scheduling and status updates.
