Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Round Lake, IL seeks a Manufacturing Technician II to help keep production running safely, efficiently and in full cGMP compliance. You will support material movement, inspection and packaging, and may serve as line lead to drive shift goals.

The role requires documenting activities, training new staff, and contributing to continuous improvement. Shifts are rotating 2-2-3 from 5:00am to 5:30pm; must meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience with a HS diploma or GED
• 1+ year of related experience with an associate degree or higher
• Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with cGMP familiarity
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow English instructions

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and maintain a safe, quality-focused environment
• Operate production equipment including DAP lines, forklifts, and hoists
• Move pallets and supplies within the production area
• Lead Manufacturing Technician I team members when assigned
• Train new employees and contractors on procedures and expectations
• Complete required documentation and electronic systems tasks to GDP/GMP standards
• Perform routine cleaning to maintain GMP standards
• Communicate safety, quality, and equipment issues promptly to leadership
• Work cross-functionally with other departments and participate in continuous improvement
• Support additional tasks to help the team succeed
