Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Manufacturing Technician III in Round Lake, IL. This role involves executing production processes with strict adherence to cGMP, safety, and quality guidelines. You will troubleshoot, lead hands-on production activity, and assist in new procedures or technology transfers as needed.

You will manage paperwork per GDP/GMP, train peers, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while supporting multiple shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of related work experience or AA degree or higher with 2+ years of related work experience.
• English language proficiency in reading, writing and following detailed instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Strong understanding of cGMP regulations.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical production equipment including autoclave, DP oven and CIP/SIP.

Responsibilities

• Execute production processes following cGMP and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot process & equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Lead hands-on production activities under supervision and rewrite procedures as needed.
• Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
• Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams.
• Prepare the next shift for success and coordinate with maintenance/metrology for preventive maintenance.
