Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Round Lake Beach, IL to perform hands-on maintenance on Galaxy filling equipment across the Mix, Fill, and Finishing complexes. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams, with a 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule and opportunities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related maintenance experience with a high school diploma or GED, or 1+ year with an associate degree or higher.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment supporting the Galaxy filling process and the Mix, Fill, and Finishing complexes.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
• Review preventive maintenance requirements and complete PM activities on time.
