Job summary

Takeda in Round Lake, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Technician III to perform hands-on production activities in a cGMP environment. You will follow safety guidelines, help implement new procedures, and contribute to technology transfers.

The role requires heavy involvement in quality systems, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure continuous manufacturing operations and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years related work experience or AA degree with 2+ years related experience.
• English reading/writing ability per job requirements.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations.
• Experience with pharmaceutical production equipment.
• Proficiency with measurement units (metric & US).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot process and equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Operate general production equipment (filling, inspection, packaging).
• Complete GDP/GMP paperwork and documentation.
• Lead/participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.
• Receive and distribute supplies to the production area.
• Coordinate setup for next shift to ensure schedule adherence.
