Merck in Durham, North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician for night shifts to support VMF operations in aseptic environments. The role emphasizes mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and accurate documentation in SAP.

You will work a 12-hour nights schedule (6:00pm–6:30am) on a 2-2-3 rotation, including weekends and holidays, and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Technical Operations to keep critical manufacturing lines running safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Technical School Diploma or Associate Degree.
• Experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Install, repair and maintain mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot production, maintenance, and operations issues, including after hours.
• Document activities in SAP.
