Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a maintenance technician for a night shift at our Clayton, NC API facility to improve equipment reliability and support production processes. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, follow SOPs, and document activities in SAP while collaborating with process owners to drive improvements.

The role requires a relevant associate degree or equivalent training, 1–5 years of experience, and comfort with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent training in mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• 12-hour rotating night shifts (6–6) with 2 days on, 3 off, then 3 on, 2 off.
• 1–5 years of relevant work experience.
• SAP experience preferred; ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to plan and organize work while documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Improve system and equipment reliability on assigned processes and reduce downtime.
• Follow SOPs and environmental/safety requirements in all duties.
• Develop maintenance procedures, plans and spare parts lists for assigned processes.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP and communicate results to process owners.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing staff to troubleshoot equipment issues.
