Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a GMP Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure regulatory compliant maintenance of cGMP production facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and installations on critical systems within a controlled environment.

This role requires reading schematics, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, and experience with CMMS. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 1–2 years in a related field.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of job-related experience in GMP/pharma/biotech/medical device manufacturing.
• Experience in controlled environments or cleanrooms is a plus.
• Able to read schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with attention to safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective repairs on mechanical, electrical, and utility systems (HVAC, purified water, compressed air).
• Inspect and calibrate equipment to SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation, qualification, and modification of facility equipment under change control.
• Use CMMS to document work orders and ensure audit readiness.
• Support RCA for equipment failures with CAPA plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow LOTO procedures.
