Job summary

Fagron North America is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain critical equipment and building systems in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with cGMP standards.

Strong mechanical and electrical background, ability to read P&IDs and manuals, and experience with CMMS are essential. On-call availability and teamwork across departments are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in regulated manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments (503B/503A, medical device, or biotech preferred).
• Working knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and cleanroom standards.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plant equipment and building infrastructure per manufacturer specifications and SOPs in compliance with cGMP.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test, and adjust equipment.
• Understand electrical wiring and installation basics; support electrical systems as needed.
• Keep facility clean, safe, and serviceable; coordinate with CMMS.
• Interface with Quality and follow change controls, work orders, and investigations.
