Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer I to perform preventive maintenance and on-site support for pharmaceutical process equipment, including chromatography and virus filtration systems.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and train end users at customer sites across the Americas. The role requires travel (50-70% of working days), strong technical knowledge of controls, electrical, and automation, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in life science preferred; technical or trade school degree required.
• 1+ years’ working with process equipment (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
• Willingness to travel and work onsite across the Americas; ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.

Responsabilités

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and customer support for products under warranty and service contracts.
• Respond to customer complaints with effective problem diagnosis and corrective actions.
• Support capital equipment used for pharmaceutical manufacturing and provide site acceptance testing, start-up, and training.
