Job summary

Amentum in Groton, CT is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Utilities, HVAC & Controls to lead a team of technicians responsible for central chiller plants, RHAC, and energy management. You will oversee preventive maintenance, supervise HVAC leads, and coordinate with QA/Validation to ensure high standards on our pharmaceutical-supportive facilities.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, familiarity with Maximo, and a focus on reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six+ years in HVAC/central plants; at least 3 years in supervisory/lead roles.
• Experience with enterprise BMS/BAS platforms, alarm management, and trending.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of HVAC and utilities staff, including leads and technicians.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs; ensure timely PM completion.
• Coordinate with QA/Validation and safety teams to maintain compliant operation.
• Manage spare parts strategy and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and CAPA activities as needed.
• Ensure BMS data integrity, alarm philosophy, and operator training.
