Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Working Supervisor in Groton, CT to lead a team delivering best-in-class facilities services for a pharmaceutical campus. You will oversee HVAC, utilities, and controls operations, drive preventive maintenance, and ensure compliant, safe, and reliable plant performance.

The role emphasizes supervision of HVAC leads and technicians, coordination of shift coverage, and collaboration with Quality and Validation to maintain controlled environments and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of hands-on experience in HVAC, central chilled-water plants, and mechanical utilities.
• Experience with enterprise BMS/BAS platforms, including alarm management, trending, and sequence-of-operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade school credentials.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, hospital, semiconductor, data-center, or other mission-critical / regulated environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise HVAC and utility operations per cGMP expectations.
• Direct supervision of HVAC leads, Chiller Plant lead, Utilities Maintenance lead, and BMS lead.
• Establish shift coverage, on-call rotations, overtime plans, and surge staffing.
• Own the preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance program in Maximo.
• Coordinate alarm management, trending, and system optimization initiatives.
