Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Floor Technician to support daily pharmacy operations, including picking, labeling, scanning, and preparing prescriptions for final pharmacist verification. This role requires weekend availability (8:30 AM–3:00 PM) and occasional 2nd‑shift hours (2:00 PM–10:30 PM).

You will maintain workstation cleanliness, assist with medication prep and packaging, ensure HIPAA compliance, and support regulatory duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English proficiency to read, write, speak, and understand.
• Active TN Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Daily drug order fulfillment — accurately fill prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Returned drug processing — handle returned medications per procedure.
• Medication prepacking — prepack frequently ordered meds, label and store during low volume.
• Manual packaging — prepare materials and products manually as needed.
• Medication pulling — pull medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Blister card labeling — label and scan blister cards for accuracy.
• Scanning issue escalation — inform pharmacist of any scan issues.
• Workstation maintenance — keep workstation clean and stocked.
• Regulatory compliance — follow HIPAA and related regulations.
• Schedule flexibility — overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
• Policy adherence — comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pharmacy Floor Technician supports daily pharmacy operations by accurately picking, labeling, scanning, and preparing prescriptions for final pharmacist verification. This part‑time role requires weekend availability (8:30 AM–3:00 PM) and occasional 2nd‑shift evening hours (2:00 PM–10:30 PM).

Key Responsibilities

• Daily drug order fulfillment — Accurately and efficiently fill prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Returned drug processing — Handle returned medications and recycle/dispose according to procedure.
• Medication prepacking — Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store during low‑volume periods.
• Manual packaging — Package materials and products manually as needed.
• Medication pulling — Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Blister card labeling — Apply labels to blister cards and scan for accuracy.
• Scanning issue escalation — Notify the pharmacist of any product that does not scan properly.
• Workstation maintenance — Maintain workstation cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Regulatory compliance — Follow all applicable regulations, including HIPAA.
• Schedule flexibility — Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
• Policy adherence — Follow departmental safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Moderate work‑speed capability
• English proficiency — Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Active TN Pharmacy Technician License — Must possess and maintain a clear and active license issued by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.
