Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Pharmacy Floor Technician in Columbus, Ohio! This role is onsite.

Location: Columbus, OH 43228
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – Close; rotating weekends may be required
Pay: $23.00 to $25.65/hr
Pharmacy Floor Technician Responsibilities
- Accurately fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist while meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Pick, label, scan, and prepare completed prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.
- Pull medications from shelving, storage areas, and prepack racks while maintaining accuracy.
- Apply labels to blister cards and perform barcode scanning for accuracy checks.
- Assist with returned medications, recycling, and disposal procedures according to pharmacy guidelines.
- Support prepackaging of frequently ordered medications, including labeling and storage during lower-volume periods.
- Package medications and materials manually while maintaining department quality standards.
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and replenish pharmacy supplies as needed.
- Notify pharmacists of medication or product scanning issues and assist with resolution.
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA requirements.
- Comply with departmental policies related to safety, attendance, dress code, and operational procedures.
- Overtime, holidays, and weekend availability may be required.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active and clear Ohio Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred:
- Previous pharmacy technician experience.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.65 per hour
