Qualifications

  • Active and good standing Pharmacist license in Kentucky.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • Immunization Certified.
  • 1 years of pharmacist experience preferred, new grads welcome!
  • Ability to work the designated shift and flexible hours

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support and medication therapy recommendations to promote safe, effective patient care.
  • Maintain required documentation, including controlled substance records and regulatory documentation.
  • Collaborate across departments and coordinate daily operations with pharmacy staff and technicians.

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Pharmacists in Louisville, Kentucky! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below.

Type: Contract to Hire OR Direct Hire!
Shift: Monday through Friday, 9am to 7pm. Rotating weekends (Sat: 9am to 6pm, Sun: 10am to 5pm)

Pay: $73.00 to $83.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Include:
  • Perform all duties in accordance with client policies, company procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review, interpret, clarify, and verify new and refill medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
  • Accurately prepare and perform final verification of medication orders prior to dispensing.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate dispensing and delivery of medications and pharmaceutical supplies to the appropriate patients or facilities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of medications, pharmacy practices, and regulations related to long-term care, institutional, and retail pharmacy.
  • Provide clinical support and medication therapy recommendations to promote safe, effective patient care.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation, including controlled substance records, incident reports, patient charges, and other regulatory documentation.
  • Monitor pharmacy workflow and coordinate daily operations by directing pharmacy technicians and adjusting priorities to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist with additional pharmacy functions, including purchasing, inventory management, clinical initiatives, and other operational responsibilities as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, facility staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality pharmaceutical care.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient concerns, requests, and emergency situations while demonstrating exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and performance improvement initiatives to support compliance and continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, resident, client, and facility information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, infection prevention protocols, universal precautions, and all workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and facility safety standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and flexibility by working scheduled hours, including weekend and holiday coverage as required.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethical practice, patient dignity, respect, and compassionate care in all interactions.
  • Collaborate across departments and support cross-functional operations to meet patient, customer, and organizational needs.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects assigned to support the overall success of the pharmacy operation.
Requirements of the Pharmacist Include:
