Qualifications

  • Pharmacy technician license valid in Ohio.
  • Cpht certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail pharmacy operations.
  • Compounding experience is a plus.
  • Strong inventory management skills are required.
  • Healthcare experience within a clinical setting is preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and clinic staff. This role involves assisting in filling prescription orders for pharmacist verification, organizing and storing incoming pharmacy supplies and medications, and processing medication orders from wholesalers and vendors. The Pharmacy Technician will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records and medication stock levels, supporting pharmacists in compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements, and performing clerical and administrative duties related to pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and clinic staff.
  • Assist in filling prescription orders for pharmacist verification.

Essential Skills
  • Healthcare experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment

The position is located onsite at the Lima, Ohio location during scheduled business hours, Monday through Friday. The pharmacy is not open on weekends or holidays, providing a structured work schedule. The role requires a professional appearance suitable for a healthcare environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lima, OH.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
