Adecco Healthcare is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Customer Care Specialist in Cary, NC. You’ll be the primary contact for patients, ensuring medications are delivered accurately and on time, with inbound/outbound calls, scheduling deliveries, and processing payments.

This temp-to-hire role offers on-site start, potential hybrid after training, and a 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM training schedule, then 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician experience.
• At least 1 year of heavy call center experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to type 35+ WPM accurately.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work onsite during training.
• Ability to commit to a permanent schedule 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• As a Pharmacy Technician Customer Care Specialist, you’ll be the primary point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure medications are delivered accurately and on time.
• Handling inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Scheduling medication deliveries and processing payments.
• Providing prescription status updates.
• Assisting customers with insurance verification and refill requests.
• Answering patient questions and escalating clinical concerns to pharmacists and nurses.
• Documenting detailed progress notes and customer interactions.
• Supporting customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
• Identifying and reporting adverse events and product complaints to ensure patient safety.
• Working collaboratively with pharmacy and clinical teams to support patient care.

Schedule

Training Schedule (6-9 Weeks)

• Monday through Friday
