Qualifications

  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures and laboratory safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist laboratory staff with routine phage testing activities and sample preparation.
  • Follow laboratory SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • Support laboratory organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping activities.
  • Assist with data entry, record keeping, and documentation of laboratory activities.
  • Help manage laboratory inventories, supplies, and materials.
  • Prepare laboratory media, reagents, and materials under supervision.
  • Participate in equipment cleaning, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and learning opportunities.

A key focus of this internship will be a dedicated project aimed at building knowledge around a phage-related challenge impacting customers, providing a valuable opportunity to develop both technical and problem-solving skills.The role & your impactIn this role, you will support the daily operations of the Phage Laboratory while learning laboratory techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.
