Job summary

Novonesis is offering a Process & Technology Intern position at our Milwaukee, WI site. You will analyze data, investigate process performance, and contribute to projects that deliver measurable business value while gaining exposure to multiple manufacturing processes.

You will work with production, quality, and engineering teams to solve real manufacturing challenges, support continuous improvement initiatives, and develop practical engineering skills in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in a technical discipline related to chemical/biochemical/biological/process engineering.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher and sophomore standing or above required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support operations across fermentation, recovery, granulation, and finished goods areas.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
  • Assist with process optimization projects and production trials.
  • Develop engineering calculations, technical reports, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with operators, engineers, quality teams, and production leaders.
  • Present project findings and recommendations to site leadership.
