Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Seasonal Operations Team General Manager to lead Retail and Rental shops in Colorado. You will oversee scheduling, coaching, customer service excellence, and safety compliance while aligning with budgets and company policies.

You will drive sales, coordinate meetings, monitor performance, and implement process improvements. The role requires strong communication, supervisory skills, and the ability to manage inventory, training, and budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day direction for assigned staff in Retail and Rental shops.

* Provides day-to-day direction for assigned staff within the Retail and Rental shops; ensures consistent focus on customer service and safety.* Oversees staff scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.* Focuses on helping assigned staff improve their skills and knowledge through day-to-day coaching, including role modeling appropriate professional behavior and communication skills.* Identifies current and future customer needs and desires by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service delivery requirements.* Develops sales and promotions while maintaining a solid knowledge of policies and process regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.* Assists with purchasing the most favorably priced merchandise consistent with quality, quantity, and pricing policies. Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotions, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.* Describes merchandise and explains use, operation and care of merchandise to customers.* Performs timely inventory counts.* Provides timely performance feedback to assigned staff, including identification and delivery of focused training as necessary (both one-on-one and group).* Responsible for scheduling/conducting daily Retail and Rental shop team meetings including agenda preparation; creates an environment that encourages team members to communicate their ideas and opinions openly, honestly, and without placing blame.* Anticipates potential problems within the Retail and Rental shop and communicates with assigned staff to ensure successful service delivery.* Responsible for monitoring assigned staff performance. Notifying Skier and Ride Services Manager and Human Resources when disciplinary action may be necessary.* Demonstrates commitment and understanding of safety/risk management and ensures compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations, and proper use of all PPE (personal protective equipment)* Encourages Rental and Retail Shop staff to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in processes, systems, and customer service delivery.* Maintains development standards by keeping abreast of the latest trends in equipment, tuning/repair techniques, retail trends and machinery.* Ensures work is performed in an environmentally safe manner, particularly in regard to education of hazardous materials and proper disposal of waste products.* Maintains proper cash control and register usage; ensures secure closing of Rental / Retail Shop.* Set goals and assist with budget development for the department.
