Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a Petroleum Systems Tester to perform fuel containment and integrity testing at retail and commercial fueling facilities. You will share results with partners and customers, and provide on-site correction advice with speed and accuracy.

The role requires 4+ years in petroleum equipment, HAZWOPER 40 and state inspector licenses, and a high school diploma. CDL-B/A with haz waste endorsement is preferred; travel and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma.
• 4+ years in petroleum equipment field or related area.
• HAZWOPER 40 and state inspector licenses required prior to hiring.
• CDL-B or A with hazardous waste endorsement preferred; licenses must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Containment and equipment integrity testing to detect leaks and prevent future leaks.
• Conduct site inspections referencing regulations, policies and customer requirements.
• Provide on-site, unbiased, factual correction advice to customers.
• Train and supervise junior technicians; ensure safety on all jobs.
• Inspect PPE, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with DOT requirements.
• Plan, document, and track job data using mobile devices and reports.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and assist with other duties as assigned.
