Job summary

OWL Services LLC is seeking an experienced Petroleum Service Technician to join its nationwide field service team. You’ll diagnose and repair petroleum equipment, install components, and service fuel dispensers at customer sites, often traveling and working independently with support from a large organization behind you.

You’ll perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, install and replace dispenser hardware, and maintain up-to-date certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience or technical schooling in mechanical, electrical, computer, petroleum equipment, or related trade.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform petroleum equipment service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, hanging hardware, POS equipment, and related systems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Install, repair, and replace dispenser hardware and equipment.
• Complete service calls accurately and efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Document work performed and complete job paperwork at the time of service.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical assistance and product support.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering dependable service and solutions.
• Complete required training and maintain current certifications and equipment knowledge.
• Learn and support additional systems and equipment at customer locations.
• Manage multiple service calls and priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
• Work independently while collaborating with dispatch, customers, technicians, and management.
• Follow all company, customer, and safety procedures.
