Qualifications

Petroleum Service Technician at SPATCO Energy Solutions

This role involves varied hours based on workload and customer needs, not a standard 8-5 schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (e.g., Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
• Diagnose and repair electronic POS systems (e.g., VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
• Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct scheduled repairs and preventive maintenance on fueling systems.
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers in non-technical terms.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining gasoline dispensing units, including hydraulics and submerged pumps.
• Valid dispenser certification(s).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, perform local travel, and lift 50-75 lbs.
