Join Our Growing Team in Kansas City branch as a Petroleum Service Technician!

Locations: Lawrence KS, Ottawa KS, St Joseph MO, Clinton MO, Sedalia MO, Chillcothe MO, Columbia MO, to name a few. If you're based in these areas or cover them now/previously, we'd like to speak with you. You'll be tied to our Kansas City branch but based remotely.

What You'll Do:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment such as fuel dispensers.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a polite and professional manner, ensuring complete satisfaction.
• Maintain and adhere to high safety standards in all tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Follow daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher, adhering to Double Check Service protocols.
• Meet response time parameters for repairs.
• Maintain a company vehicle and keep an inventory of repair parts.
• Adhere to safety policies, report unsafe conditions.
• Complete training courses, including recertifications.
• Follow customer protocols and safety guidelines at customer sites.
• Communicate with warehouse staff to verify and replenish inventory.

Additional Gas Station Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain fuel dispensers, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Conduct inspections of tanks and lines for leaks and corrosion.
• Maintain vapor recovery systems to prevent vapor escape and ensure environmental compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair POS and fuel management systems.
• Maintain canopy lighting, signage, and price displays.
• Ensure environmental and safety compliance, perform site assessments.
• Build positive relationships with station owners and staff; provide training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1-year experience preferred; training provided.
• Basic mechanical and electrical understanding, troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license, CDL A or B required.
• Strong communication, computer skills, professional demeanor.

Preferred Certifications:

• Gilbarco Dispenser, Wayne Dispenser, Gasboy Fleet, Passport, Veeder Root, Verifone, Journeyman Electrician.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently; up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work in high traffic areas, flexible hours.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
