As a member of the All in One Maintenance Division, the Petroleum Service/Maintenance Technician performs service and preventive facility maintenance at service stations. Responsibilities include POS work, UST service and testing, and electrical/mechanical work on designated equipment systems, both underground and above ground. Tasks include construction, repair, and preventative maintenance on fueling systems, fuel dispensers, POS systems, fleet fuel systems, pumps, tank monitors, and fuel management systems. Industry-specific equipment training is a plus. Candidates must be highly organized, self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform petroleum equipment service and installation calls professionally and efficiently.
• Operate powered construction equipment such as backhoes, ditch witches, concrete saws, drills, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery.
• Use a variety of hand tools including pipe wrenches, channel locks, and drills.
• Respond to service calls at company and customer properties.
• Complete all required documentation for service calls.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on pump dispensers and electronic systems like Veeder-Root tank monitors and VeriFone POS terminals.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical components of dispensers (e.g., Gilbarco).
• Learn and perform electrical wiring between store and pump dispensers.
• Assist with above- and underground storage tank system repairs, testing, installation, and removal.
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain current certifications and industry knowledge.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical/mechanical background.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Basic computer and application skills.
• VASC certification/knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of Gilbarco, Wayne, Bennett, Veeder-Root, INCON, Verifone, and PetroVend systems is a plus.
• POS and networking knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience operating forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, backhoes, and heavy equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of safety procedures when working with petroleum and flammable materials.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb.
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 75-100 lbs occasionally.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Occasionally climb ladders or heights using bucket trucks.
