Job summary

Camin Cargo Control is seeking a Petroleum Inspector to perform sampling, pipeline transfers, inventories, and barge inspections under supervision. This role includes vessel inspections and representing the company professionally to maintain its trusted reputation.

Required are a High School Diploma with math skills, Inspector level training, IFIA certification eligibility, TWIC, a valid driver's license, and dependable, independent work habits. Physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with good math skills.
• Must complete Inspector level training and pass tests and field evaluations.
• Must have or obtain IFIA certification after gaining at least six months of industry experience.
• Must maintain a valid TWIC. Possess and maintain a vehicle, valid driver's license, insurance and registration.
• Must be dependable, able to work independently and communicate with clients (terminals/vessel personnel).
• Must meet site-specific requirements and pass physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs sampling, pipeline transfers, inventories and barge inspections.
• Acts as field representative and communicates with Operations Department to receive work orders.
• Labels and transports samples to the laboratory in a timely manner.
• Maintains inspection equipment and ensures calibration and storage.
• Performs field calculations per API Standards and submits reports to Operations.
• Assists in training Probationary and Junior Inspectors.
