Camin Cargo Control is seeking a Petroleum Inspector to perform sampling, pipeline transfers, inventories, and barge inspections under the supervision of a Senior Inspector in Pasadena, TX. The role requires a High School Diploma, basic math skills, and safety certifications, with the ability to work independently in varied outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing API-based field calculations, and reporting to the Operations Department.

Formación

• Requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with good math skills and a minimum three months of inspection experience.
• Must complete Inspector level training and pass tests and field evaluations.
• Must have or obtain IFIA certification after gaining at least six months of industry experience.
• Must maintain a valid TWIC card and a vehicle, valid driver's license, insurance and registration.
• Must be dependable, able to work independently and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Must meet site-specific physical requirements to access facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Acts as a Company representative in the field per policies and procedures and coordinates with Operations to receive work orders and schedules.
• Maintains communication with Operations, terminals, and vessel to avoid delays or conflicts.
• Obtains, labels and transports samples to the laboratory as required by each job assignment.
• Maintains inspection equipment and ensures proper calibration and storage.
• Measures products (gauge and temperature) and performs field calculations per API standards; submits reports to Operations in a timely manner.
• Performs specialized inspection services such as loss control, wall washings or confined space entry after required training.
• Assists in training Probationary and Junior Inspectors.
