Camin Cargo Control is seeking a Petroleum Inspector in Baytown, TX. The role involves field sampling, pipeline transfers, inventories, and barge inspections under supervision, with a focus on maintaining our reputation for fairness and excellence.

The candidate must have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and at least three months of inspection experience, plus TWIC, a valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with good math skills.
• Minimum three months of inspection experience.
• Must complete Inspector level training and pass tests and field evaluations.
• Must have or obtain IFIA certification after at least six months of industry experience.
• Maintain a valid Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC).
• Possess and maintain a vehicle in good working order, a valid driver’s license, insurance and registration.
• Dependable, able to work independently and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Must meet site-specific access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a Company representative in the field and follows company policies.
• Maintains regular contact with Operations Department to receive work orders and schedules.
• Obtains, labels and transports samples to the laboratory as required.
• Maintains inspection equipment in good working order and ensures calibration.
• Measures products and performs field calculations per API standards and submits reports.
• Performs specialized inspection services as trained.
• Assists in training Probationary and Junior Inspectors.
