Job summary

Camin Cargo Control is seeking an Inspector - Petroleum II in Gonzales, LA to perform sampling, transfers, inventories and barge inspections under supervision. This full-time role requires adherence to API/ASTM manuals and professional client interactions.

You will complete Inspector level training, obtain IFIA certification within six months, maintain TWIC, and coordinate with operations to execute safe, accurate field work across terminals and vessels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with good math skills.
• Must complete Inspector level training and pass tests.
• Must obtain IFIA certification within six months of industry experience.
• Must maintain TWIC and valid driver's license/insurance.
• Able to communicate well with clients and work independently.
• Must pass site-specific physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs sampling, pipeline transfers, inventories and barge inspections.
• Certifies field assignments conform to policies and procedures.
• Acts as company representative in the field with professional integrity.
• Labels, transports samples to the laboratory and documents field results.
• Maintains and calibrates inspection equipment as required.
• Training Probationary and Junior Inspectors as needed.
